Nellie Lois Atwill was born on a farm near Lebanon, Ks. on July 21, 1929.
She died in Texas on Oct. 16, 1984. She had cancer. She was the 10th of
11 children born to Nellie Carpenter and Arthur J. Atwill.

She grew up in Lebanon, Ks. Lois graduated from Lebanon High school in
1948. She left Lebanon and moved to Wichita, Ks. where she spent the
better part of her life.
She married William Martin in 196? and they had 1 son, Barry William Martin
in 1965. Lois worked in many cafe's and restaurants as a waitress, she was also
a bartender.
While raising her son Barry by herself, her sister Marguerite moved in with
them to help her with raising him.

Later in her life she married Donald Gunselman in 1982. They moved to
Texas.

Lois was a daughter, sister, wife, Mother, aunt and niece. She was quite
the lady. She didn't put up with any crap and told it like it was. You always
knew where you stood with her, she pulled no punches. She was a great
lady.
