Mr. Franklin Davis Hall, age 79 of Rome, died Sunday afternoon, May 2, 1999 at 1:45 at a local hospital.

A native of Floyd County, Georgia, Mr. Hall was Born June 17, 1920, son of the late Franklin Dennis Hall and the late Abby Davis Hall. He had spent his entire life in Floyd County and was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Prior to his retirement in 1985, Mr. Hall was associated with O'Neill Mfg. Co for 35 years as a master cabinetmaker 2 brothers Harvey Hall and Waldo Hall preceded him in death. Mr. Hall was married on May 9, 1942 to the former Willie Mae Timms, who services.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Hall' 1 daughter, Glenda Hall Benton of Hendersonville, N.C. 1 son, Dr. Guy Hall of Rome; 2 granddaughters, Lisa Hall Wood of Kingsport, TN and Kelli Hall Benton Then of Panama Canal Central America, 1 grandson, Gabe Davis Hall of Rome, 2 great granddaughters, Avery Wood & Merin Wood, both of Kingsport, TN. 4 sisters, Nett Millican of Summerville, Ga, Louise Trapp of Lafayette, GA, Viola LeCroy of Rome and Margaret Walters of Hiram, GA. 1 brother, Sam Hall of Rome; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Rev. John Crowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as active pallbearers and are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:30. Rocky Fountain, Dennis Trapp, Thomas Keeney, J.L. Brock, Kenny Patty, Joey Smith and Robbie Fuller.

Mr. Hall will remain at the Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends this (Tuesday) evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.

Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Franklin Davis Hall.
