Princeton, Dec 7, 1949 – John Lewis Keatley, 91, pioneer farmer in Mercer county, died early Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.J. Mandeville, Route 3, Princeton. Mr. Keatley was born in Summers county , the son of the late James and Carolina Garten Keatley. He married Miss Martha Ballard who preceded him in death in 1942.
He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Mandeville; S.W. Keatley and J.R. Keatley both of Bozoo; Mrs. C H. Armentrout, Clifton Forge, Va.; Mrs. Annie Gunnoe, Huntington and Mrs. H.M. Harvey, Princeton. Interment in the church cemetery.
