Funeral services for Willie Bob Boozer, a farmer in the Carolina Community, were held Nov. 2, 1956 at the New Chapel Methodist Church. Mr. Boozer, 72, died in the Community Hospital at Tupelo after being in failing health for several years. He died early on the morning of Nov. 1st. Burial was in the New Chapel Cemetery with Pickle Funeral Home of Amory in charge. He was a member of the Carolina Methodist Church.

Survivors included his wife; a son, Calvin Boozer of Amory; five daughters, Mrs. J. L. Shumpert of Carolina, Mrs. S. A. Ritter of Carolina, Miss Kathleen Boozer of Carolina, Mrs. A. D. Wiggins of Amory and Mrs. Ralph Barber of Nettleton; two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Todd of Pheba and Mrs. C. S. Morgan of Nettleton; six grandchildren.
