Obert S. Bruhjell, 78, Gonvick, died February 3 at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital, Bagley.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Samhold Lutheran Church, Gonvick, with the Rev. Richard Lafer officiating. Interment was made in Samhold Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
Mr. Bruhjell was born March 22, 1903, at Gonvick. His marriage to Olga Lode took place September 30, 1926, at Maple Bay. For years he worked as a buttermaker at Gonvick, Ulen and Perley. He moved to Duluth in 1953, where he worked for the Diamond Tool Company until returning to Gonvick in 1973. He had been at Greensview Nursing Home in Bagley since December 1980.
He is survived by four brothers, Irvin and Adolph, Duluth and Morris and Harold, Gonvick; and two sisters, Dora Sorenson and Juduth (Mrs. John) Faldet, both of Gonvick.
His wife preceded him in death in 1973. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
