Judith Faldet, 70, rural Gonvick, died Monday, June 14 at her home in Pine Lake Township.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick with Intern Susan Olsen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
She was born November 27, 1911 in Pine Lake township to parents Ole and Inga Bruhjell. She was a life long resident of the Gonvick area. She married John Faldet on May 12, 1939 at Gonvick.
Mrs. Faldet was a member of Samhold Lutheran Church and the A.L.C.W.
she is survived by her daughters, Jeanette (Mrs. Carroll) Hetland of Gonvick, Mrs. Jerry (Caroln) Erickson of Minneapolis; two sons, James of Gonvick and Gary of Fertile; one sister, Dora Sorenson of Gonvick; four brothers, Irvin and Adolph Burhjell of Duluth, Morris and Harold Bruhjell both of Gonvick; eighteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Jon; two grandsons; two sisters and one brother.
