Case was born May 9, 1900 in Fallsville, Arkansas. He worked at the McAlester Naval Ammunition Depot until his retirement in 1956. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and the Harrison-Powers Post of the American Legion. A daughter, Mrs. Lesley (Ruby Lee) Boatner, died in 1961.
Survivors include his wife, Eva, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Ruth) Brock, Quinton; two sons, Lawrence Case, Harrah; J.D. Case, McAlester; two sisters, Mrs. Selma Barnes, Durant; Mrs. Lilly Plummer, McAlester; 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2pm Thursday in Mills-Humphrey Chapel. Revs. Alvin Brock and Kenneth Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in North McAlester Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Humphrey Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Kirk, Gene Tripp, Melvin Clayborn and John Rice. Honorary pallbearers will be A. Ogden, Earl Barnes, Ben Hytower, E. L. Clayborn and John King.
