Regis G. L'Ecuyer
CLYDE — Regis G. L'Ecuyer, 81, died Monday, June 10, 1991, at the Clay County Hospital, Clay Center. Mr. L'Ecuyer was born June 9, 1910, at Bartlesville, Okla., and had lived in the Clyde area since 1914. He had farmed south of Ames and ran the Clyde recreation hall. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde.
Survivors include his wife, Rita of the home; a son, Stephen of Manhattan; three daughters, Cecilia Ray and Emma Brownell, both of Clay Center, and Irene L'Ecuyer of Lawrence; five sisters, Cecelia L'Ecuyer and Rose Harper, both of Clyde, Lillian McConahey of Concordia, Madeline Bottenfield of Tulsa, Okla., and Mae Baba of Wichita; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, the Rev. John Walsh officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde.
A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
