G. F. Goodson Jr. Dies at the Age of 38

George Floyd Goodson, Jr, 38, Abraham, died at 4 a.m. Sunday of a heart attack at Newton Falls, Ohio. He was an employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.

A son of George F. Goodson and the late Martha Plumley Goodson he was born Aug. 29, 1915, at Cabin Creek.

He is survived by his father, of Dorothy, and three sisters and six brothers; Mrs. Bertie Plumley and Mrs. Mary Bennett, both of Shady Spring, Mrs. Mae Redden of Notomine, Millard of Dorothy, Della of Shady Spring , Paris of Moundsville, Elmer of Bellwood, Clarence of Abraham and John, U.S. Navy, Norfolk.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the New Salem Church at Abraham., the Rev. Oliver Tedder officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The body is at the Web and Quesensberry Funeral Home.
