"Pearl Coverston --- Mrs. Pearl Coverston, 73, of Palermo, a native of Berry Creek and a lifetime Butte County resident, died Saturday in a local hospital.
"Mrs. Coverston was born on March 29, 1889.
"Survivors include her husband, Milton, of Palermo, daughter, Mrs. Helen Abston of Sacramento, son, Floyd Coverston of Salt Lake City, brother, Herbert Bills of Berry Creek, and two grandchildren.
"Funeral services were to be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. in Scheer Memorial Chapel. Rev. Robert E. Dunaway, pastor of Full Gospel Community Church of Palermo, was in charge. Burial was scheduled to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery."
