Kiel—August Schreiber Sr. aged 73, died at his home in the town of Meeme on Wednesday morning at 8:30 from an illness of several years. He was born June 17, 1863 in the town of Meeme and was married to Miss Helen Schneider in 1899. The couple moved to a farm in the town of Meeme where they resided since.
The survivors are his wife and nine children: Mrs. Edwin Lutze and Mrs. Louis Weyhausen of town Liberty; Mrs. Lester Libke and Mrs. Carl Schrank , town of Newton; Mrs. Leslie Reinke town Mosel, and Miss Ella Schreiber, Sheboygan; Hugo, August Jr., and Alfred Schreiber at home; eleven grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon from the home in the town of Meeme and at the Evangelical and Reformed church at Schwartzwald.
