Manley Lee Hebb, 92, of Fall River, died December 19, 1995, at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. He was born October 21, 1903, on a farm southwest of Howard to James Henry and Naomi Lillian (Smith) Hebb. He grew up in the Moline and Howard areas and attended Wildcat Rural School.

In 1936, he purchased a farm near Fall River. During the 1930s and 1940s he worked as a truck driver while continuing to farm. He moved to Medicalodge of Eureka in 1989 and returned to Fall River in 1990.

He was a member of the American Hereford Association and the Severy Co-op.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Cross of Eureka; four sons, Kurley Hebb of Kaufman, Texas, Gary Hebb of Howard, Max and Donald Hebb, both of Fall River; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grand-children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Martin Hebb; sister, Martha Hughes; two daughters Phyllis Wood and Kathi Hebb two sons, Melvin Hebb and Ronald Hebb; one grandson, Gene Cross.

Funeral services were held December 22 at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard with Rev. John Brewer Jr. of the Oneta Holiness Church in Oneta, Okla., officiating. Interment followed in the Grace Lawn Cemetery at Howard.

A memorial has been established in his name with the Fall River Happy Hour Senior Citizens Club. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
