Mr. Davis was discovered dead at his home after relatives, worried because they could get no response, entered the house and found the body. Coroner Eugene Eissman said death was due to natural causes. He had lived in Muncie since 1911. He was a member of the Willard St. Church of God.
Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Merritt Druckmiller, Mrs. Roscoe Turney, Mrs. James Fickert, Mrs. Warren Newton, Mrs. Mack Voke, Mrs. Donald Powell, and Mrs. William Griffis, all of Muncie; three brothers, David and John, both of Muncie, and James of Gaston; three sisters, Mrs. Nora McDowell, Mrs. Cordie Dance, and Mrs. Myrtle Huxhold, all of Muncie, and 14 grandchildren.
