Joseph C. Harrison is a brother of D Watson's great-great-great-grandmother. He had no children.

Joseph C. Harrison was elected Justice of the Peace - Precint 1 Cherokee County, TX on Aug. 7, 1854 and commissioned Sept. 5, 1854.

Joseph C. Harrison served in the Texas House of Representatives during the Sixth Legislature for Cherokee County in 1855. He died in Austin, Texas while the Legislature was in session.
