Ex Mayor's Mother dies-
Mrs. Mary Lillie Dawson 85 year old mother of former Mayor D. Boone Dawson died this morning at her Dunbar home where she had lived the past 24 years. Death followed and extended illness.
Mrs Dawson of 308 20th St. was born in Sissonville WV. March 15, 1878, daughter of Frank M. and Sarah YOUNG Aultz. She was a member of Humphreys Memorial Methodist church in Sissonville.
Also surviving are four other sons, Dr. Rank O. and the Rev. Winifred Dawson of Charleston, Curtis of Dunbar and Francis of Sissonville; four daughters, Mrs. Grace Clinton and Mrs. Ora Trent of Dunbar, Miss Erna of Charleston and Mrs. Helen Saunders of Morgantown, sister, Mrs.Young of Charleson; 18 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
