CLIFFORD I. BERG

Clifford I. Berg of Brainerd, MN died unexpectedly late Saturday evening at his home. He was 65 years old, born March 21, 1907 and died April 1, 1972.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Berg, and he had farmed in the Litchville area, and had spent many years as a caterpillar operator doing road work.

In the early 1930's he married Marion Mettler, also a resident of Rosebud Township at that time. Three children were born to them: Patty, Linda and Rodney, all married now.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, at Perley, MN. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Rosebud Township.

He leaves his wife, Marion; children: Patty, Mrs. Merlin Peterson; Linda, Mrs. Neal Henderson, Minot; Rodney Berg and grandchildren. He also leaves sisters and brothers: Mrs. Leonard Boyer, Buxton, ND; Mrs. Theo. Wheeler, Buxton, ND; Albert H. Berg, Litchville; Mrs. Ralph Hunt, Yakima, WA; Mrs. Bert Manns, Ypsilanti, ND and Fred Berg, Deadwood, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Elmer Berg.
