Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Schmidt, 931 Holmes Street, Shakopee, were said January 31 from St Mark's Catholic Church. Rev. Norbert Delort, a nephew of the deceased, officiated.
Interment was at St. Mark's Cemetery.
Mrs. Schmidt died January 28 at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee. She was 75.

Catherine Meier was born April 17, 1901 to Nicholas and Mary Ann Meier in Guttenberg, Iowa. She married Peter C. Schmidt at Guttenberg on November 25, 1919.
A housewife, Mrs. Schmidt was a member of the American Legion Post 2 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; nine sons, Harold, Alex, Robert, Alois, Walter, Joseph and Paul, all of Shakopee, Anthony of Hopkins and Arthur of New Prague; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Antoinette) Brown of Clearwater, Mrs. Ray (Theresa) Lehnen of Jordan and Mrs. Francis (Marie) Bisek of Shakopee; two sisters, Ann Delort of California and Clara Sabelka of Iowa; 39 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harold Schmidt Jr, Michael Schmidt, Daniel Schmidt, Ronald Brown, Leon Bohnsack and Gabriel Yau.
Philipp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
