Television Producer. Hilliard Herbert Marks was the son of David Henry Marcowitz Marks and Esther Wagner Marcowitz Marks. He was born in Vancouver, B.C. Canada in 1913. Hilliard also had two older sisters Ettle and Sadya Marcowitz Marks. Sadya, whose stage name became Mary Livingston, was the wife of Jack Benny. Hilliard started out as a writer on Jack's television show and eventually became the producer, a position he held on "The Jack Benny Show" from 1950 to 1965. He married Harriet Northfoss, stage name Harriet Haddon in 1942 and they had two children, Phillip Haddon Marks and Victoria Jessica Marks.
