Mrs. Ritchie was born in Canada on May 8, 1872. She married Benjamin Ritchie in Bay City on April 2, 1895, who preceded her in death 17 years ago.Mrs. Ritchie passed away at the Elizabeth Pines Convalescent Home in Flint after one and a half years illness. She had been living in Flint for the last 14 years.
Surviving are three sons, William of Detroit, Floyd and Vern of Gladwin, two daughters, Mrs. Edna Brown of Gladwin
and Mrs. Ida Myers of Swartz Creek, also 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
