Joseph's death certificate list his name as "Joseph George Felske Felshe".

Joseph's baptismal record lists his name as Joseph Felske. His parents were Catherine "Katie" Walters and Joseph Thomas Felske. Joseph's god-parents were Johann and Rosa Langbauer.

Joseph served in the U.S. Navy during World War I.

Note: There have been multiple Find A Grave memorials posted at this cemetery for Joseph and his wife Marie under the following family names: Felshe; Felsche; and Felske.

Prior to 2014, their headstone inscription showed:
"Joseph G Felsche - S2 US Navy - Jun 19 1899 - MAR 9, 1982; MARIE K HIS WIFE - FEB 23 1904 - APR 9 1992."

During 2014, the cemetery was provided with copies of Joseph's and Marie's death certificates and a new headstone was erected, with the family name of "Felshe."

Joseph Felshe

PRESCOTT - Mass for Joseph G. Felshe, 82, who died March 9, 1982, in Prescott Samaritan Village, will be 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here.

Mr. Felshe, a Chicago native, retired as a city of Chicago construction worker before moving here in 1950.

Survivors include his wife, Marie K. Felshe.

Arizona Ruffner Funeral Home made arrangements.
