Herkimer-Mrs.Lucy Petrie, of Green Street, widow of Benjamin Petrie, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Cruikshank, in the Osborn Hill section of the Town of Herkimer yesterday.
Mrs. Petrie had been visiting at the home of her daughter for several weeks.
Mrs. Petrie was born in the Town of Herkimer May 6, 1850 and had lived there practically all of her life in this town. For years Mrs. Petrie resided with her son, William Petrie of Green Street, who survives.
Other surviving relatives are two sons, Adrian of Mohawk, and Burt Petrie of California; three daughters, Mrs. Cruikshank, Mrs. Warren Taber, Ilion, and Mrs. Marian Morey of Utica, and one sister, Mrs. Arthur Hall, also of Utica.
Burial will be in Middleville Cemetery.
