Mary Elizabeth Hilts married Arthur Hall 21 November 1877 in Herkimer, Herkimer Co., NY.

Mary, her husband Arthur, and their son Casey W. Hall and a boarder are living in Herkimer, Herkimer Co., NY on 26 June 1900 on East Albany St. Arthur was born March 1860 in NY; he was 40 yrs old. He is working as a day laborer. Mary E. was born June 1857 and was 42 years old. Casey was born Jan. 1889 and was 11 years old. He was their only child. Two boarders were also living with the family (Daniel Collins and Marcus Nachiman).

The 1920 U.S. Census for Oneida, New York (Utica?) finds Mary and her husband Arthur L. Hall living in what appears to be either a hotel or a boarding house as there are 9 other people with various surnames listed in their "household".

The 1930 U.S. census for Utica, Oneida, NY shows that Mary and Arthur are still in Utica. They have a roomer, so perhaps in the 1920 census, they also had boarders.
