Barbara Geneva (Hawkins) Johnson, 74, of Greenfield died Sept. 1, 2005.

Born Jan. 27, 1931, in Albany, Ky., she was the daughter of Elmer and Tempe Irene (Burchett) Hawkins.

She was self-employed and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Hawkins of Greenfield and Kevin Johnson of Carthage; stepson Dave Johnson of Anderson; stepdaughters Barbara Maynard of Brownsburg, Loretta Collier of Anderson, Linda Roll of Fishers, and Rita Greenwood of Mount Summit; brother Elmer Hawkins of Albany, Ky.; sisters Thelma Clark and Linda Coomer, both of New Castle; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; 35 stepgreat-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil W. Johnson, in 2004; brothers Henry H. Hawkins, Elza H. Hawkins, and Wendell H. Hawkins; sisters Rose Bell, Reba Pierce, Kathleen Marcum and Loreane Hawkins; and a grandson.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown with Phil Aguilar officiating. Burial will follow.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield.
