Thelma Jane Clark, 70, of New Castle passed away Sunday at Regency Place in Greenfield.
She was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Albany, Ky., a daughter of the late Elmer and Irene Burchett Hawkins.
She was retired from the New Castle State Developmental Center after 37 years of service as a supervisor of psychiatric attendants. She was a homemaker and member of the Davis Chapel Church in Albany, Ky.
She is survived by a son, Gary M. Clark of Whiteland; three grandchildren, Matthew Clark of Whiteland, Jennifer (husband: Zach) Beeson of Indianapolis, and Nathanael Clark of Whiteland; a sister, Linda (husband: Bill) Coomer of New Castle; a brother, Elmer Hawkins of Albany, Ky.; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Rose Bell, Reba Pierce, Geneva Johnson and Kathleen Marcum; two brothers, Henry and Elza Hawkins; also an infant son; and two infant daughters.
Services are 10 a.m. (local Kentucky time) Saturday at Davis Chapel Church in Albany, Ky. Burial will follow in Davis Chapel Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday at the Macer-Hall Funeral Home.
