Sara Dorfman Frapart, 57 of Brownsville, died Monday at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

A Brownsville native, she attended Brownsville public schools, they Hockaday School of Dallas and the University of Texas at Austin. She was a sustaining member of the Junior Service League of Brownsville and a past board member of the Brownsville Boys Club and the Temple Beth El.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Lewis Frapart of Brownsville; three sons, Jules Dorfman Frapart of Brownsville, Ross Lewis Frapart of Boston and David Joel Frapart of Houston; two sisters, Mildred Dorfman Fruhling and Elaine Dorfman Wiedermann, both of Brownsville and four grandchildren.

General services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Darling Mouser Funeral Home Chapel, 945 Boulevard with the Rabbi Arthur Rutberg officiating with interment in the Hebrew Cemetery.

Friends of the family are making memorial donations to Sara Dorfman Frapart Memorial Fund, c/o Temple Beth El.
