THE PARIS NEWS, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27, 2013, PAGE 3 - Lela M. Ford, 92, of Bogata died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, in Bogata Cemetery with David Ballard officiating. Wood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ford was born Sept. 18, 1920, in Hartshorn, Okla., the daughter of John Jewel and Ellen Spoon McCullar. She married Joe Ford on Oct. 10, 1964, in Deport. They owned and operated Joe Ford Grocery until their retirement in 1986.

Joe preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Dominic Buffo; a son, Dom Buffo; five sisters, Irene Stevens, Flora McCullar, Wanda Anderson, Leona Phelps and Mamie Bibbs; and three brothers, Dee, Carl and Cotton McCullar.

She is survived by a sister, Nadine Ward, of Bogata; two grandchildren, Michael Paul and Elizabeth Buffo; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Matthew Buffo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
