Mrs. Geneva Morgan Eaton, age 81, of the Palestine Community near Montpelier, died Sunday, November 6, 1988 at the Clay County Medical Center in West Point. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 8 at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery with Dr. Felix Sutphin officiating. Special music was provided by Mrs. Nancy Cliett.
The daughter of the late Joseph P Morgan and the late Sally Lemuel Walls, she was born in Union County. She was the widow of the late Alfred Floyd Eaton and was a homemaker. She was a member of Montpelier Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Louise Parker of Montpelier; four sons, A J Eaton, Hubert Eaton and Billy Joe Eaton, all of Montpelier and Darrell Eaton of West Point; one brother, Porter Morgan of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Caradine of West Point and Mrs. Dessie Peck of Oxford, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Delane Morgan, Dennis Morgan, Louis Brand, John Sullivan, George Snell, Jr. and Tony Abshire.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point was in charge of arrangements.
