Memorial services for Mildred B. Bell, 90, of Salem, who died Sunday, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. She was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and came to Salem in 1981 from Mineral Wells, Texas. She worked for Collins Radio Inc., making defense equipment during World War II. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star in Iowa. She enjoyed knitting and reading.
Survivors include her son, Anson of Salem; daughter, Margaret Wise of Fullerton, Calif.; and brother, Bruce Badley of Pocatello, Idaho.
