She loved her Lord and served him faithfully by teaching children for over 50 years at Putnam City Baptist Church. She worked for Putnam City Schools for 26 years in the cafeteria baking those wonderful cinnamon rolls and cookies until her retirement in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Elbert, in 1984 and granddaughter Robin in 2010.
She is survived by her children Mary, Charles, Pat, and David, all of Oklahoma City, and Ronnie and wife Deanna of Bethany OK; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was our "Prayer Warrior," and we are all very thankful for the legacy she leaves behind.
