RITES SET FOR FRED BAILEY

Services for Fred Bailey, 79, Greensburg, retired farmer, who died Friday [July 16] in Harrodsburg, Ky., will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Carmony Funeral Home in St. Paul.

The Rev. C.R. Good will officiate and burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:30 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Bailey was a resident of Shelby and Decatur Counties all his life and for several years was an employee of the National Farm Machinery Co. He moved to Greensburg five years ago. He was a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church near St. Paul.

Born July 10, 1892, in Noble Township, Mr. Bailey was the son of F.W. [Fernando] and Nanny (Templeton) Bailey. On August 19, 1916, he married Jeannette Hinton [in Covington, Ky.] and she survives.

Other survivors are two sons, Francis Bailey, Roanoke, Ind. and Nick Bailey, R.R.3 Batesville; one daughter, Mrs. T.C. (Marcille) VanArsall, Harrodsburg, Ky.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lloyd Bailey, Greensburg.

One brother and one sister preceded in death.
