She was a native of Bulloch County who had lived in Chatham for the past 40 years. She was a member of Garden City Primitive Baptist church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Janie Riser, Savannah; three sons, Albert Lee Beasley, Toccoa, James Harley Beasley, Bloomingdale, Jack Lafayette Beasley, Guyton; a sister, Mrs Lelia Mae Clark, Brooklet; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mrs. Beasley will be today at 4 p.m. at the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lindy Webb and Elder Jessie Coleman officiating.
Interment will follow in Lane's Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Stilson.
