She was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and was a former waitress at the Molly Pitcher Hotel of Carlisle. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carlisle.
Surviving are four daughters, Verna K. Carter of Columbus, Ohio, Freda Cunningham and Betty Adams of Gladwater, Texas, and Marjorie Caldwell of Gilmer, Texas; a son, Byron S. of Palestine, Texas; a sister, Ruth Wickard of York; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Newville Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are being handled by the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle.
