The funeral of Miss Catherine Fitzgibbon, who died on March 3, was held last Thursday morning from St. Ann's church with Father Parkinson officiating, and burial was in the Catholic cemetery. The pall bearers were John M. Byron, John Barden, William Glynn, Thomas Foley, Thomas Donelan and Bernard Cawley. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 13, 1850, and lived in St. Paul from 1884 to 1893, when she came to Janesville. She has lived in this community ever since and was esteemed by all who knew her. Her nearest relatives here are two nieces, Miss Alice Lilly and Mrs. Richard Conway. Those from away in attendance at the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Byron, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Conway of Waseca; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark of Mankato; Miss Agnes Fitzgibbon of St. Paul; Mrs. Kate Miner of Minneapolis.

Last Rites Are Held For Old Resident
Miss Catherine Fitzgibbons Passed Away Tuesday Morning
Miss Catherine Fitzgibbons died at her home in this community early Tuesday morning, March 3rd, as a result of the infirmities of old age. Her last illness was of eight days duration and for hours before her passing she had been in a state of coma.
The deceased was the daughter of Patrick and Mary Bradish Fitzgibbons. She was born at Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 13, 1850, and at the time of her death she was eight-one years of age. Coming to Waseca County Thirty-eight years ago, she had made her home in this vicinity since that time. Her kind and gentle personality had attached to her a goodly number of warm friends who will always hold her in loving remembrance.
The funeral services were held this morning at eight-thirty from the home and at nine o'clock from St. Ann's Catholic Church with Fr. Parkinson in charge of the services. The pallbearers were John M. Byron, John Barden, Williard Glynn, Bernard Crawley, Thomas Donelan and Thomas Foley. Interment took place in St. Ann's cemetery. Those from away who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Conway and family from Waseca, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark of Elysian, Mr. and Mrs. James Clark of Mankato, Miss Agnes Fitzgibbons of St. Paul, Mrs. Katherine Miner of Minneapolis and Miss Agnes Clark of Elysian.
