Mrs Leota Sue Benegar Young, longtime resident of Wynne, died Jan 28, 1998 at the Wynwood Nsng Center in Wynne. She was 83 yrs old. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Hm in chg of arrangements. Bn Dec 27, 1914 in Deer, AR the dau of Joseph Columbus & Polly Snow Benegar. She married Mr Virgil Young, who preceded her in death in 1954. Mrs Young was manager of the Thorough Wash Laundry Mat for 30 yrs. She was a memb of the Union Avenue Bapt Ch & enjoyed working in her yard & gardening. Survivors include sons, Chester & Ivory Young, bth of Wynne, Vernon Young of Arlington, TX & Jerry Young of Alexander, AR; daus, Elgie Busby & Helen Hess bth of Wynne & Linda Sue Young of Memphis, TN; 2 bros, Honsel Benegar of Huntsville, AR & Archie Benegar of Ft Smith; 3 sis, Girtie Young of Fair Oaks, Ethel Ramsey of IN & Prudence Norton of Goodwin, TN; 2 grands & 5 greats. She was preceded in death by 3 sons; Homer, Ed & Roy Wayne Young. Pallbears: Dunn Brawner, Rickey Heartgraves, Doug Kennon, Doug Sullivan, Eugene Young & James Young.
