Burial Services for Mrs. E. Maxwell This Morning

Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell, 87, pioneer resident of this community, was buried today in Greenwood cemetery following services conducted by the Rev. Ralph Eller at 11 o'clock from the late residence, 563 South Second avenue.

Mrs. Maxwell had spent all but two years of her lifetime in Canton. Her death occurred at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening and was attributed to the infirmities of advanced age.

The decedent was born in Pennsylvania April 16, 1843, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rock. Sixty-one years ago she was married to M.W. Maxwell, who died several years ago.

Surviving children are Mrs. Maude Negley, Farmington township; Mrs. Edna May Phillips, Canton, and Mrs. Susan Kirkhuff, also of Canton. Henry Rock of Lewistown and Thomas Rock of Canton are brothers and Mrs. Josephine Raker of South Bend, Ind., is a sister. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren are living.
