Mrs. Nellie is survived by two sons, Roy Persilver and his wife, Margie, of Charenton, Barry Persilver and his wife, Julie, of Charenton; one daughter, Verda Hebert and her husband, Eugene, of Charenton; a brother, Jesse Higgins Jr. of Sorrel; a sister, Vera Bull of California; 36 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren and four great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Persilver Sr.; two sons, Russell Persilver and Leo Persilver Jr.; two daughters, Gertie Bailey and Birdie Mae Johnson; her parents, Jesse and Nina Higgins; and a brother, James Howard Higgins Jr.
The family requests that visitations be observed Friday, December 31, 2010 from 10am until time of services at the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nellie will be held on Friday, December 31st at 1pm at the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton with Rev. Bobby Hodnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
