Sioux Center, Iowa – Maria Addink, 46, of Sioux Center died Monday in a hospital in Sioux Center after a long illness.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center. The Rev. Dennis Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today in Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.
Mrs. Addink, the formed Maria Van Olst, was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Harderwyk, The Netherlands where she attended school. She moved with her family to the United States at the age of 13. She also attended school at Sheldon.
She married Darryl Addink June 8, 1960, in Rock Valley. The couple lived in Sioux Center all their married life.
Mrs. Addink was a member of Central Reformed Church where she was active in RCW and also taught Sunday School. She did volunteer work at Sioux Center Hospital.
