ROY - Luacine Peery Pingree Bunnell, the center of our family died Aug. 11, 2011, at home in Roy. Her 98-year-old body just wore out. Except for Macular Degeneration, she had few health problems. She loved children, acting, golf, bridge and cross word puzzles.

Born Dec. 2, 1912, Salt Lake City, to Julina Clarissa Smith Peery and Joseph Stras Peery. Her mother died when Luacine was 10. Happiest childhood memories are of Peery Camp, Ogden Canyon. Student body vice-president, LDS High, Salt Lake City. Majored in drama, U of U.

Married Malcolm J. Pingree, Sept. 19, 1935, had 5 children. He died Dec. 8, 1970. Lived in Ogden 48 years, active in community theater, Drama Club, the Ogden Golf and Country Club.

Married Edward L. (Ted) Bunnell, Oct. 5, 1987. Performed readings of Broadway plays with him for many years in Ogden. Lived 20 happy years, Oceanside, Calif. Moved to Roy, 2008, for equally happy years with family.

Survived by her devoted husband, Ted; two daughters, their husbands: Julie and Don Woodward, Bountiful; Kathleen and Nick Vesper, Roy; two sons, J. Stephen Pingree, Lehi; and Chris M. and Anne Stanford Pingree, Sandy; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Edwards Pingree, Bountiful; 10 grandchildren; 6 almost 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret McMain, Julina Parker, both Salt Lake City; brother, Paul Peery, Sacramento, CA. Preceded in death by son, David Morgan Pingree; granddaughter, Natalie Pingree; three sisters, Elizabeth Daynes, Nancy Schulder, Jean Lindsey; two brothers, Joseph S., David H. Peery.
Survived also by Ted's children: DeLaine Oyler (Mark); Nadine; Roy (Karen), Terry, Bruce (Sue), and Bradley (Kathleen).

Graveside services will be held Saturday August 20, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue N Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.

The family thanks Ted, Kathy Vesper and DeLaine Oyler for their diligence and care during Luacine's last days.
