Lorina Fels, 90, Brillion died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1920, in the Town of Morrison to the late Rudolph and Hilda (Loppnow) Borchardt. She married Melvin Hahn on April 4, 1945, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside. Melvin proceeded in death in 1980. On Nov. 26, 1982, Lorina married Sylvester Fels at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside. Sylvester preceded her in death in 1986.
Lorina was a former employee of the Larson Company in Green Bay, retiring in 1983. She enjoyed family and friends, needle craft, quilting and singing.
Survivors are her son, Paul and daughter-in-law, Charmaine Rimple of Reedsville; stepchildren: Fred and Carol Fels, Gene Fels, Dan and Diane Fels, Doris and Mike Pelischek; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbert and Caroline, Norbert, Marvin and Elaine; sisters: Luella Miller, Bernadine Lemke and Esther Lemke; sisters-in-law Verna Borchardt, Alberta Borchardt, Carol Borchardt, Dorothy and Ron Zenke. Stepbrothers: John and Carol Koch, "Clarence "Butch" and Jo Koch; a stepsister, Marilyn and Steve Hook, further survived by stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, stepgreat-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Malinda (Koch) Borchardt; brothers: Gilbert, Edward, Melvin, and Meinhard; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church, 8378 County Road W, Wayside, Wis., from 8 to 11 a.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Steven Kline officiating. Burial in Community Cemetery, Brillion.
