Norton Ward was found dead in his bed at the home of his son, Frank Ward, of West Waynesburg, Monday morning, December 9, aged 70 years. His death was due to heart failure. Mr. Ward had retired Sunday evening in his usual health and when he failed to arise in the morning his son went to his bedside and found he was dead. The following children survive: Edward, William and Frank Ward, of West Waynesburg; Perry Ward, of Washington, and Mrs. Delmar Pounds, of Sycamore.
