She was thirty-five years of age and has been a resident of Montana for a number of years, coming hear from Waseca, Minnesota.
The following is a brief history of the life of Mrs. Frank Jones.
Agnes Quitney was born in Minnesota, May 16, 1881. She was united in matrimony to Frank Jones on June 6, 1902. Mrs. Jones came to Montana with her husband in 1906, when they took up a homestead. To this union was born five children; one boy and four girls, two of the girls having preceded the mother in death.
She leaves to mourn her departure a father; Mr. and Mrs. Quitney of Waseca, Minnesota; one brother, Martin Quitney; and one sister; Mrs. Albert G. Craig, both well known here. She also leaves her husband and three children, to whom she was most sacredly devoted.
It has been known for some time that Mrs. Jones health was such that she might go at any time, but even at that, death always comes as a shock, and her many friends were grieved to hear the sad news.
There was a short service held at the home on Saturday December 23rd from which place the remains were brought to Hinsdale and another service held in the M.E. Church on Sunday morning. Interment was made in Hinsdale Cemetery and the service was conducted by the pastor, Reverend W.D. Price.
The church was most beautifully decorated with floral designs and cut flowers, and music appropriate for the occasion was given. The relatives and frinds gathered to pay the last tribute of love and respect to the departed. The hearts of the entire community go out to the sorrowing ones in sympathy.
