She was born on May 19th 1929 in Middlebury, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Ruth (Naylor) Turpin.
She worked at Simmonds Precision Products Inc. for eight to ten years and she worked for IBM Corp. for 15 years.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 63 years, seven children, 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Arlene Smith and Germain "Polly" Hyrdziusko.
