William W. "Willie" Reed was the son of Curtis Reed and Augusta Lydia Ripley Reed. Curtis was considered the founder of Menasha, and at one time, was Mayor of Menasha. Willie was a City Engineer for the City of Menasha, and later for the city of Green Bay.
He never married and had no children. He was in the military and fought in the Wisconsin Indian wars.
