Grandmother had a nigger cook and servants, while her kids was little, 'til they came here. I loved Grandmother Perry. We kids stayed with her on Saturday when Mamma and Daddy to town. We went to the dam and watched birds, picked berries and flowers and had a good time. At night we watched the moon to see how many people were in it. Billy was a baby when Grandmother Perry died. Oran and Merlene probably remember her."
