Juanita Way Boykin Denmark, 81, died Sunday, September 12, 2004 at her residence after a long illness. She was born April 28, 1923 in Swainsboro, daughter of the late Fred L. and Nannie Bramlitt Way. The life long resident of Savannah was a devoted wife and loving mother who will be missed by all of those whose life she touched. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Carole Boykin of Savannah; Tootsie and Pete Counts of Pembroke; step-son, David Denmark of Orlando, FL; son and daughter, Ellis and Sue Smith of Macon; brother, Thomas Way of Augusta; sisters, Evelyn Way of Augusta; Lois Hackle of Savannah; sixteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel Funeral: 11:00 am Thursday, September 16, 2004 in the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
