MRS. JAKE HUNTER
---The sad news of the death of Mrs. Jake Hunter of Wausau, Wisconsin, has just been released here by relatives. She was stricken with pleurisy on January 5, later developing into pneumonia and died at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
---Mrs. Hunter was a daughter of the late Bea Collins, a Macon County pioneer and has lived in Wisconsin for the past five or six years. She was present last summer at the Collins-Spencer reunion which was held at Atlanta.
---Mrs. Hunter is a sister of Thomas Collins west of La Plata and Mr. Hunter is a brother of Mrs. Collins. Together, with the above mentioned, she is also survived by her husband, nine children, the eldest being fourteen years old, three sisters and five brothers, namely Mrs. Enoch Wilson, Mrs. Virlinda Bloom, Mrs. Archie Hodges, Thomas, John, Walter, Tye and George Collins, and a number of other relatives and friends.
---No word has been received here about when the body will arrive but the burial will be made at the New Harmony cemetery, east of La Plata.

---Honora Collins, daughter of Burthaer and Lucella Collins, was born January 25, 1886 at the old homestead near Sue City at which place she grew to womanhood, died on Wednesday, January 16, 1924 at Wausau, Wisconsin.
---At the age of sixteen years she placed her faith in Christ and became a member of the church at New Harmony and has always lived a consistent and conscientious christian life.
---She was united in marriage to Jacob Hunter on August 16, 1908; to this union were born nine children, six boys and three girls, namely, Helen Blanche, Velma May, Hazel Irene, Virgil Ray, Charles William, Jacob Collins, John Merrell, Thomas Henry and Alonzo Edward, all of whom, with the father and her brothers and sisters who are, Minnie, Verlinda J., Beulah, Walter R., George W., Thomas H., John M. and J. Tye Collins; also eight nieces and six nephews, together with a host of friends who are left to mourn their great loss.
---In December, 1916, this family moved to Wausau, Wisconsin at which place they have since made their home.

Mrs. Nora Hunter died in January 1924 at her home in Wisconsin, leaving nine little children. She was a sister of Walter Collins of the Union community. The body was brought back to the old home of her childhood in Macon county for burial by the side of her parents.
