On May 3, 1938, Nick Klassen married Theresia Hemmesch at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Lake Henry. The couple farmed in Lake Henry Township until 1962, when they moved to Spring Hill.

Nick is survived by his wife, Theresia Klassen, his children, Ralph (Marcella) of Richmond, Lorraine Cagley of Tulsa, Okla., Kathy (Ralph) Kalthoff of Richmond, Duane (LaDes) Glanzer-Klassen of Minneapolis, Caroline (Rueben) Nathe of Litchfield, Hildegard (Richard) Nohner of Clearwater, Marie of Minneapolis, Jane (Bob) Detloff of Sartell, and Jim (Jan) of Spring Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Marlene Klassen.

Nick J. Klassen died in 1995 and is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery in Spring Hill, MN.
