Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill for Marie T. Klassen, age 62, of Deep Haven and formerly of Spring Hill, who passed away December 21, 2010 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the church in Spring Hill.
Marie was born April 27, 1948 in Lake Henry Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Nicholas and Theresia (Hemmesch) Klassen. After graduating from St. Benedict's High School she moved to the Twin Cities area where she worked at Honeywell for many years.
Marie is survived by her siblings, Ralph (Marcella) of Richmond, Lorraine Cagley of Tulsa, OK, Kathy (Ralph) Kalthoff of Richmond, Duane (LaDes) Glanzer-Klassen of Minneapolis, Caroline (Rueben) Nathe of Litchfield, Hilde (Richard) Nohner of Clearwater, Jane (Bob) Detloff of Sartell and Jim (Jan) Klassen of Spring Hill.
Preceding her in death were her parents Nicholas (1995) and Theresia (2008) and sister Marlene (1964).
