Carl Dehne, 76 retired Centerville farmer, died Saturday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stoltenberg funeral chapel, Cleveland,
and at 2 o'clock at the St. John Reformed church, Newton. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dehne was born in Centerville in 1871 and in 1893 married Miss Henrietta Becker. They located on the homestead farm in that town. On the death of his wife in 1944 Mr. Dehne retired and has been living with his children.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Hugo Stock of Centerville, Mrs. William Steffen of this city and Miss Arlene Dehne of Milwaukee; five sons, Walter, Marvin and Arnold of Newton and Emil and Lester of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Monk, Mrs. Ludia Stock and Mrs. August Hintz of Newton and Mrs. Ervin Gabsch of Cleveland; three brothers, Henry of Stetsonville, Wis, Edward of Colby, Wis and Peter of Newton; 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home the hour of services.
