From a newspaper clipping:
Collins- on the 12th inst, Joseph Sutcliffe, son of Thomas and Ann Collins, aged 2 years, 4 months and 23 days.
Sad are our hearts, and sad our home,
since our dear Josey's gone;
But, oh, a brighter home than ours
In heaven is now his own.
He died in beauty like a rose,
Blown from its tender stem;
He died in beauty like a pearl
Dropped from some diadem.
